Manufactory
Of course, you don't just need development and design, but also the physical light sources. Our manufacturing facility takes care of that for you. From a single unit to small-batch production of several hundred units.

Technology

We manufacture the lighting surfaces and operating interfaces with special layer structures (laminates) made of various materials.

The advantages are obvious: Smart surfaces manufactured in this way are thin, light and fit seamlessly into all types of surfaces.

The technology was developed by plastic electronic GmbH in the 2010s, has been continuously developed and used in numerous products since then. In addition to the design freedom and outstanding optical properties, our customers particularly appreciate the low installation height of the illuminated surfaces and user interfaces.

The seamless integration of smart surfaces is often only possible with foil circuit boards. This technology combines the functions of the circuit board and the electronic components with a special light management system in a thin foil composite. By using foils, even large areas in living areas can be easily equipped with electronic functions.
