Unsere Eindrücke von der Euroluce 2025

A celebration of good taste

Our impressions of Euroluce 2025

Indeed, Euroluce 2025 was one thing above all: a celebration of good taste. Numerous impressive booths showcased the best that the industry has to offer – mostly without over-exaggeration.

There were interesting and clever ideas as well as tried and tested ones, but they were often particularly well executed.

We limit ourselves here to showing, from a very personal perspective, what we will remember.

Immerse yourself in another world

Immediately upon entering the first of the two halls, we encounter our first highlight. The lamps and light installations from Aqua Creations captivate us. Warm colors. A calm atmosphere. Yet spectacular nonetheless. Flat light sources covered with folded fabrics in a variety of shapes and arrangements give the Aqua Creations booth something truly unique – simply a feel-good factor.

Immerse yourself in another time

At the SLAMP booth, we were able to witness the true meaning of perfected craftsmanship. In the Tulip lighting series, each individual "tulip" is handcrafted from the glass-like material Lentiflex and the finest wires. All SLAMP lights have a baroque, somewhat out-of-date feel, but precisely for that reason, they are so appealing and charming.

The power of the simple conical shape

With our own oak pendant lights in mind, we were naturally also interested in finding comparable lights with a simple conical shape. And there were actually quite a few. The conical shape for pendant lights is also a true classic at Euroluce 2025. Wooden lights were less represented. These are more in line with the Scandinavian or Japandi style than with the Italian style.

A great in his field

The International Lighting Forum, which had been extensively advertised in advance, featured several interesting presentations. We were particularly impressed by Kaoru Mende. A quiet, unassuming personality who conveyed a great passion for light and lighting design. In his presentation, he used numerous images to showcase unique examples of his Asian-influenced perspective on lighting design, which will remain with us forever. Kaoru Mende is undoubtedly a true master in his field.
